๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to Templates!

Templates transform how you create patient notes. Record your voice notes, and VetScribe organizes everything into your preferred format automatically.

๐Ÿ” Understanding Template Structure

Sections How you organize your template. These can follow the traditional SOAP format or any structure you prefer (like "Findings" โ†’ "Conclusions" โ†’ "Recommendations"). You can create as many sections as you want!

Section Body The bulk of your template. Use square brackets [] to indicate variables or inputs. VetScribe will replace the [brackets] with your text in the final report. Add as much context or instructions within the [brackets] as you'd like.

Examples:

Temperature: [patient's temperature] ยฐF

Weight: [patient's weight] lbs

Eyes: [findings on patient's eyes OR "Not mentioned" if not mentioned]

F/A/S: [Fear/Anxiety/Stress score formatted as X/5 or "0/5" if not mentioned]

Diagnostics: [List any diagnostics performed OR "No diagnostics performed yet." Then include recommended diagnostics with detailed explanations for why each test is needed, including what conditions you're ruling out and how each test will guide treatment decisions]

[If allergies are mentioned, include "Today, we discussed that your petโ€™s itching is most likely due to allergies. In dogs, allergies are most often due to fleas, food, or the environment (pollens, molds, dander, etc.). Allergic dogs will often chew excessively at the base of the tail, constantly lick at the paws, and may have frequent ear infections. Dogs may develop allergies at any point in life." or "" if not mentioned]
